Diana Pernokis

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I believe that feeling truly seen, heard, and understood can be the beginning of meaningful change. Life can be complicated, and sometimes we find ourselves feeling overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or disconnected from who we are and what we need.

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I value creating a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment. I believe meaningful therapeutic work can include lightness, curiosity, genuine connection, and even moments of humour as we navigate life’s challenges together.

I take an integrative approach to therapy, recognizing that our emotions, relationships, and physical experiences are deeply connected, each influencing how we understand ourselves and navigate the world. Alongside conversation and reflection, I may incorporate mindfulness, grounding, and body awareness to help you reconnect with yourself and develop a greater sense of emotional balance.

Therapy is about more than simply managing difficult feelings. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply, learning to respond to yourself with compassion, and finding new ways of relating to yourself and others.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, past experiences, or simply feeling that something isn’t quite right, my hope is to offer a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and move toward a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and authentic.
